Why it matters, and how to use it
Why the method belongs on the bill
Indian counters take cash, UPI and cards in the same hour. If the method is not recorded with the bill, closing means counting the drawer, adding up app notifications and hoping the difference is explained.

With the method on every bill, the expected cash and the expected digital total are known numbers, and any gap points to a specific transaction.
